And She's Off

What a wonderful weekend this has been! Saturday night was a wonderful chance for Karlie to spend time with many of her closest friends and family. Thank you to everyone who came out to show her support! Sunday morning was her farewell. She gave an amazing talk. I'm sure everyone could tell how ready she is to serve the Lord and share her light with the world. "You are the light of the world." "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds, and glorify your father in Heaven." Matthew 5:14-16.
That night, she was set apart as a missionary. It was an incredible experience, one that I'm sure we will never forget.

On Monday night, Karlie arrived in Utah. She has spent the last day visiting the Salt Lake Temple and sightseeing in the surrounding areas. Tomorrow she reports to the MTC in Provo!
